How workers clock in and out of projects, including GPS location tracking
Buildero's time tracking lets your crew clock in and out from the job site using their phone. GPS verification ensures hours are logged accurately from the right location.
Workers access Buildero from any browser on their phone — no app download required. Here's the process:
Buildero captures the GPS coordinates at the moment of clock-in and compares them to the project address.
When GPS is enabled, Buildero checks whether the worker is within the allowed radius of the job site (configurable in Settings > Time Tracking, default is 500 feet).
You can require GPS for all clock-ins in your account settings.
When the shift ends, the worker:
The time entry is created with start time, end time, total duration, and GPS coordinates for both events.
Owners, Admins, and Foremans can clock in crew members on their behalf:
This is useful when a worker forgets to clock in or when logging historical hours.
Workers can view their own time history under My Time — useful for confirming hours before payroll.
